About the cover

The range of articles we offer in this issue is an attempt to highlight the many types, goals and techniques of communication. As always, our cover is a reflection of our theme-this time illustrating the outcome of good communication. Speakers communicate ideas that will germinate in the minds of others, new ideas and projects invariably spring forth. But even with the best ideas and audiences, the communicator must always tend the message, choosing the most appropriate words while responding to the needs of the audience-the same attention and care that causes gardens to grow and fields to flower. May your harvest be blessed and bountiful!
