Starting a College Women's Group
Are you interested in starting a women's group on your campus? Consider contacting the National Network of Presbyterian College Women (NNPCW) for assistance.

· Starter Manual-a packet of materials offering basic information about women's groups, resources and activities to get the group started.

· NNPCW Email Listserv-a way to connect with women across the country to exchange ideas, suggestions and information about events related to NNPCW.

· Sisters Together-published once every semester, this newsletter contains articles written by students, questions for discussion, information on what other campus groups are doing, upcoming events and other activities.

· Discussion resources-Lifting Up Our Voices: Young Women Explore Life, Liberation, and Faith contains 14 topical sections on current issues facing young women, including women's health, racism/race prejudice, environmental justice and women and food. Each section includes background information and a variety of study and discussion opportunities with theological involvement. · Regional events-held throughout the year in different parts of the country, allowing participants to connect with other NNPCW members to share ideas and participate in faith-based retreat activities.

· NNPCW annual leadership event-takes place every summer, allowing women nationwide to gather and participate in a four-day leadership conference. The 2002 event will take place in Nashville, Tennessee in August and will focus on women, science and Christian faith.
