T he Fellowship of the Least Coin is a worldwide ecumenical movement of prayer for peace and reconciliation celebrated in more than 80 countries. Through this movement, Christian women around the world seek fellowship with each other as they contribute the "least coin" of their monetary system.

Each year, funds are administered and grants are determined by an international committee made up of representatives from ecumenical organizations and the Asian Church Women's Conference. In allocating grants, the committee seeks to support opportunities for

--awareness-raising and/or educating women on gender issues

--supporting programs on literacy, health, social concerns and leadership development

--enhancing justice, peace and reconciliation for women and families, communities,
countries and the world

--gathering women to meet ecumenically regionally, nationally and worldwide

The least coins add up and are used to support ecumenical projects and organizations, emerging opportunities, natural disaster assistance and administration. Contributions from individuals and organizations in the United States are sent to Church Women United, New York. Contributions from around the world are sent to the Fellowship of the Least Coin, Geneva, Switzerland.
