The
Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)'s National Health Ministries office
is health-centered mission in action. Charged to provide health
awareness and resources for individual Presbyterians, congregations
and governing bodies, this office helps make tangible to all
Presbyterians our responsibility for the stewardship of our own
health, as well as the health of others.
The 2003 Churchwide Gathering of Presbyterian Women provided
an excellent opportunity to get a snapshot of the health status
of Presbyterian women.
Patricia K. Gleich is the associate for National Health
Ministries. A former social worker and public health administrator,
Pat is committed to providing women with the information they
need to care for their own health as well as the health of others
