Where Next, God?
by Roberta Updegraff
Leslie Omstead-Santee
took her gift in videography to Afghanistan in 2002.
ow did a veterinarian end up in video production? Leslie Omstead-Santee
laughs at the question, obviously delighted in her journey. "Okay,
where do we go next, God?" has become her maxim for life.
God has taken her all over the world. This veterinarian-turned-videographer
has traveled throughout Africa, Latin America and the Middle
East on assignment for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Presbyterian
Frontier Fellowship, Church World Service and other church-related
organizations.
Baptized at Danville Presbyterian Church in Danville, Kentucky,
Leslie didn't attend church after her family moved to California.
"Yet I felt God wooing me," she said.
