The Journey
Bill and Sonya carefully put the loaf of French bread in Bill's backpack and started the long trek up the side of the hill. The sign on the pathway had a picture of a waterfall with an arrow pointing the way. It was mile and a half straight up the hill. As they climbed up the rocky hillside, Bill talked about his experiences during the last few days. Just a week ago, Bill's father had died. After the funeral service, he found a diary by his father's bedside and began working his way through the book, reading about his father's thoughts and ideas.
