Theological Education for Women
As I write this article, three generations of women in the Kirkpatrick family are under one roof. Daughter Elizabeth and her two children (two of the most beautiful grandchildren ever!) are with Diane and me. I have heard it said before and now know it to indeed be true: there’s a reason the vast majority of new parents are young adults—it takes enormous energy to keep up with those little ones! But, I might add, it’s well worth it to have the joy of watching them grow and change almost daily. Elizabeth is a Presbyterian clergywoman, having most recently served as pastor of a congregation in Vermont. She will tell you how fortunate she knows she is to have the resources of her family as she pursues further study, and we feel blessed to be in a position to help.
